    -Recent Windows Operating System Upgrade: Your system registry might have been updated. You have to re-install interneTIFF OR
    -QuickTime interference:

    STEP 1:The first thing to check is to open innoVUE from your desktop and Select User Preferences and Fix File associations and check the Status of the file associations.

    Anytime, the TIFF associations are hijacked from interneTIFF and innoVUE, you can re-associate them back using this screen.
    If the status is not OK, then click on the Change Button.

    STEP 2 : QuickTime is interfering and taking over the TIFF Format. You have to disable QuickTime TIFF Format.
    Open QuickTime Player->Edit Menu->Preferences->QuickTime Preferences.
    Select Browser Plug-in from the PullDown Menu and Click MIME Settings Button, Browse to Images and uncheck TIFF.
    Netscape/FireFox/Opera users: Locate your browser's plug-in directory and delete npq*.dll

    You might have to Re-install interneTIFF after disabling Quick Time.

  3. My local TIFF's are associated with a different product before but I associated them with innoVUE.ico What happens if I un-install the product?
    The product saves all the information from your registry when it's installed and puts back that information when it's un-installed.
    For Ex: if your default image viewer for a particular format is Photoshop, and you have selected innoVUE to be your new default viewer for that format. During uninstallation, interneTIFF will set Photoshop back as your default viewer. However if you installed some other image viewers after you installed interneTIFF, those new image viewers will take over the File associations and interneTIFF uninstallation program will still put Photoshop as your default viewer when uninstall interneTIFF .

  4. The Status Message in the TOOLBAR stays at "Requesting...." or "Connecting..." for a long time?
    Every page in the Patent is a LINK by itself. If the Traffic at the USPTO site is heavy and/or your internet connection is slow, it will take a while for the requested link to be received. After a while, if the connection is still busy, you will get a "TIME OUT" Message. However, if you don't want to wait and kill the link manually, you can Click the "STOP" button on your ToolBar.
    If this happens during SAVEALL/PRINTALL, you have the option of STOPPING the whole process or CONTINUE with the remainder of the pages and SAVE/PRINT missing pages later.

  5. I bookmarked a Patent a while ago. When I try to open it now, I get a "Time Out" Error.?
    USPTO generates the search results dynamically. So your bookmarked URL may not be valid after a certain period. You have to perform a new Search for the Patent.

  6. The browser BACK Button is not taking me back to the Previous Page. Instead, it opens a new Patent Page Page with interneTIFF.?
    This will happen if you use the USPTO navigational buttons instead of interneTIFF's. Everytime you navigate to a new page using USPTO's buttons, a new page is opened using interneTIFF. So for example, if you go to Pages 4, 5, 6 using the USPTO buttons, When you click the Browser BACK button, you will be taken back to Page 5, 4 and then to the previous page. Use interneTIFF buttons instead.
